I’ve hand polished and enhanced these stones by removing matrix rock and exposing more of the gem stone and giving them a light polish. Made to sit up right for placement on your alter, night table, window sill or any where else a little beauty and energy are needed. Small enough to fit in the palm of your hand the largest crystal measures 3 inches tall x 4 inches x 2 inches. From left to right the stones pictures above are turquoise, lapis, emerald.

I’ve removed matrix stone from this specimen revealing the natural beauty of the raw emerald underneath, then gave it a light hand polishing for a natural satin look and feel. It stand upright in base I made for it from polymer clay perfect for setting on an alter, windowsill, end table or where ever a bit of beauty and energy are needed. The specimen can be removed from its stand to be held during meditation if desired. This specimen measures 2 inches tall x 1 inch wide x .5 inch deep and weights 21.3 gms. or 106.5 Ct.

Green is the color of nature and expanding energies, it is the color related to our heart chakra. This emerald specimen has been set with the intention of balancing the heart chakra, detoxifying the body and deepening meditation and to be of benefit to all sentient beings.

This lapis crystal is amazing! Deep indigo blue with flecks of pyrite, a gem quality specimen from Afghanistan. I removed matrix rock revealing more of the beautiful deep blue lapis, hand polished and gave the specimen a flat base for standing on a table or your alter. This lapis specimen measures 2.25 inches tall x 2 inches wide x 1.25 inches deep and weighs 97.6 gms or 488 ct.

The deep blue of lapis is attuned to the throat and third eye chakras. This stone is said to aid in communication, clearing of the chest, throat and head. Lapis can be clamming at first then open one to cleansing. This specimen is set with the intention of aiding communication and opening up to ones intuition as well as benefit to all sentient beings.

I found this as a raw chunk of rock with turquoise veining in it out in the Arizona desert. There was a lot of loose rock that I removed from this specimen before coming to stone hard enough to polish. The form reminds me of the iconic stone Mts. of southern China. Once polished I gave the specimen a flat bottom so it will sit upright. This specimen shows rich veining of green blue turquoise in a chalky green blue matrix, naturally beautiful! This specimen measures 2.25 inches tall x 1.25 inches wide x 1 inch deep

Turquoise being a blue/green stone appears to be marrying the earth and sky. It is found on every continent on earth. Turquoise is said to aide the support of the thymus gland and be grounding. This turquoise specimen is set with the intention of grounding and focusing ones energies.

The side maker carvings are a traditional Kwan Yin holding a mala and the carving in the marker position depicts Kwan Yin as the Virgin Mother. This mala measures 32 inches in length and is 50 inches around. I made the cotton tassel for this piece which measures 1.75 inches.

Time is flying as it usually does, particularly in retrospect. Spring is here kind of unbelievable. We have had some warm and very warm weather already this year, but as I write this we are enjoying a cool spell. The heat will be here soon enough so this is not a complaint. Enjoying all day under 110 while I can.

The awakening of spring is breathing new life into the awakening of the masses to this system stacked in favor of a few. The occupy protests that began last fall, called by some as the American Autumn are coming alive in the rebirth of spring. The protests are making changes in the social and political landscape of this country and the world. The most notable effect of note recently are all the corporations dropping out of the evil Koch Brother’s front group ALEC. The awareness raised about ALEC through Occupy and finally the events surrounding the Trayvon Martin tragedy and the exposing of another of many draconian laws sponsored by ALEC. If you are interested in knowing more how ALEC controls our legislators and more you may want to visit ALEC Exposed. Finally on this subject there is an international call, originating from Europe, for a general strike on May 1st – no work, no school, no shopping, no banking, take to the streets! I’ll be off line that day at the very least.

I with the spring I hope the wave of change that circling the earth continues with positive results for all sentient beings.
